Lesley Anderson (b. 1986) is a Canadian painter living on Vancouver Island, on the west coast of Canada. She uses a variety of methods and materials to create her work, including: ink, gouache, acrylic, pouring techniques, cutting and pasting, airbrushing, digital methods, drawing, projection and more. Her work evokes abstracted narratives, landscapes and figures, but often are explorations of pure form and colour. Together, these processes create an inventory of her visual vocabulary and memory. She holds a BFA from Emily Carr University in Vancouver, B.C. and an MFA from Concordia University in Montreal, Q.C., Canada.
