Raquel Barrios (b. 1988) is a Mexican artist based in Guadalajara. Her work explores construction through painting, installation, and illustration, using fabrics, hand-torn paper, and mixed media to highlight the imperfection in human creation. Raquel's work has been exhibited in Mexico, including at the Diego Rivera Museum, and was featured in the 2019 Biennial of Contemporary Art in Lagos, Nigeria. She has received the Young Creators Annual Grant PECDA and taught workshops at Cabañas Museum and ESARQ University.
