This work is part of an ongoing exploration in experimental printmaking. Oils are painted onto glass and passed through an etching press onto etching paper, producing a one-of-a-kind monoprint. Because the process resists complete control, each piece emerges with an element of surprise, making the practice both playful and liberating.

Miki is an Anglo-Japanese visual artist whose work blends illustration, photography, painting, and digital media. Her style merges everyday observations with surreal, dream-like elements, influenced by her multicultural background and love of travel.
