Her practice reimagines the function of materials and everyday moments, turning the familiar into new ways of seeing. In recent years she has worked from a mobile studio while traveling with her partner and son, creating drawings, sculptures and reliefs that form a personal visual archive. Fluid, meditative mark-making meets hand-soldered frames, each piece conceived as a talisman of time and intention.
Shahar has had solo exhibitions at Artport Tel Aviv and Be'eri Gallery, and group exhibitions at the Eretz Israel Museum, Bat Yam Museum of Art, Negev Museum of Art, the Larnaca Biennale, Jerusalem Design Week and Fresh Paint Greenhouse. She has held residencies at Artport and the Holon Digital Art Center, and received awards and grants from the Rabinovich Foundation, the Tel Aviv-Yafo Municipality and Bezalel Academy.
